Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a many places over the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin on Tuesday.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," said the bulletin.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 36.5 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur and minimum temperature today was 25.3 degrees Celsius at Rangamati.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am Tuesday was recorded 14 mm in the sun sets at 6.49 pm today and rises at 5.29 am Wednesday in the capital.
