(In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.)

অতঃপর যখন ঐ মহা ঘটনা ঘটবে। সেদিন মানুষ যা কিছু করেছে সেসব কথা মনে করবে। আর যে দেখবে তার সামনে দোযখ খুলে ধরা হবে। কাজেই যে বিদ্রোহ করেছিল। ও দুনিয়ার জীবনকে বেশি পছন্দ করেছিল। একমাত্র দোজখই হবে তার ঠিকানা। আর যে (আখিরাতে) নিজের রবের সামনে দাঁড়ানোর ভয় করেছিল ও নাফসকে অসৎ কামনা থেকে ফিরিয়ে রেখেছিল। জান্নাতই হবে তার ঠিকানা। এরা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করে, সেই সময়টি কখন এসে পৌঁছাবে? (হে রাসূল!) ঐ সময়টা বলে দেওয়া আপনার কী দরকার? এ বিষয়ের জ্ঞান তো আপনার রব পর্যন্তই শেষ। যে এর ভয় করে, শুধু তার জন্যই আপনি সাবধানকারী। যেদিন তারা এটা দেখতে পাবে সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে যে, তারা (দুনিয়াতে বা মৃত্যুর পরে) একটা বিকাল বা একটা সকালের চেয়ে বেশি সময় থাকে নি। (সূরা না-যি'অাত, আয়াত ৩৪-৪৬)
Therefore, when there comes the great overwhelming catastrophe -
The Day when man shall remember all that he did.
And Hell-fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see-
Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds,
And had prefered the life of this world,
Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;
But as for him who feared standing before his Lord and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts.
Verily, Paradise will be his abode.
They ask you (O Muhammad Sallallahu alaihe wa Sallam) about the time of the Day of Judgement (Qyamat)?
Why do you need (to know or) tell the date?
Only your Lord knows this.
You are only a warner for those who fear it.
The day when they will see it, they will think that they had lived in the world only for the time period of an afternoon or a morning. (Surah An-Naziat, 34-46)
