Bangladesh Scrabble Association- National Committee was formed comprising fifteen members’   in a formal ceremony at GEIST center in the capital on Thursday afternoon.

Global Educators Initiative For Sustainable Transformation [ GEIST] President, Biplob Kumar Dev was present as chief guest.  Educationist and CEO,  Leadership in Friendly Education [LIFE], Rial Hasan and President, Bangladesh Teachers Association, Bazlur Rhaman were present as special guests with Head Teacher, Kaliganj Karim Uddin Public Pilot High School, Lalmonirhat in the chair.,

The chief guest in his speech said. Scrabble, a word game for English  language learning is very popular in worldwide. The game helps to build vocabulary and develop strategic, intellectual capacity and core skills.  He also urged the newly formed committee to take measures to make scrabble game popular among the young learners in all secondary schools across the country.
