The way we talk to the children becomes their inner voice.

They absorb, what they listen to.

They repeat, what they see.

They behave, what they are encouraged to by society.

I believe, what we let happen today, consumes us tomorrow.

A student is defined not just by a uniform or a classroom, but by a willingness to ask questions, absorb information, and grow.

What does growth mean?

Are you familiar with the word 'Personal Growth'?

As a child grows, he/she develops his/her personality. True education reflects on behavior. (Behavior includes your language and intonation too.) It helps build personality.

What is the use of education if your behavior isn't changed. And you don't know when and where to stop.

A Mother is the child's first teacher and the family is the first institution.

Basic manners and communication are taught in the family. 

Family values matter the most in shaping a child's behavior.

Schools and colleges play a secondary role in that case.

If you approve your child's wrong behavior making an excuse of so called generational behavior, trend or new cool, then you are absolutely wrong . You are destroying your child as well as the generation by these simple approvals.

Your bad parenting reflects on their behavior. Odours of your failures in upbringing your child spread out when they speak. 

If your child is rude, uses slang, behaves badly then you (Both parents and family) are solely responsible. You don't have any control over your child.

They use slang, because you let them at home. It seems like a normal language to them.

They disrespect their teachers, mentors and other elderly people because they don't respect you (Parents or elders of the family).

They have learnt the lesson of disrespect at home. They are used to these behaviors.

Your little approvals and cover ups on their mistakes are destroying them as well as the whole generation.

Your child doesn't look cool, smart or straightforward with this behavior, rather he/she becomes a bad example, an uncivilized, mannerless crap.

A straightforward  person and a mannerless person is totally different. If you know, you know.

Before sending your child to get formal education make them aware of the qualities of a student. 

I ask teachers and mentors as well to teach their students at the beginning of their academic journey how to behave, especially when they are wearing a uniform. 

Teach them 'do's and don't s' also.

To learn something new, you must first admit that you don't know everything. Humility is the quality that allows a student to respect their mentors and learn from anyone. But unfortunately most of the students are arrogant, they think they know everything. Whatever they don't know is just one click away. They are the generation who are idle enough to make that click.

Our students lack honesty and integrity.

They listen just to answer, not to understand. They never seek growth.

They never learn from their experiences.

They don't have resilience.

They don't observe before reacting.

In the long run we are getting a shocking social picture.

Humans are everywhere but no humans in them.

I feel for them ( my students). I feel the urge,  and wish I could leave them a little better than yesterday.

It's a reminder to me, to the parents, family and society to look at your child, take care of them. It's high time you corrected them.

If this continues, I suggest Secondary Schools and Higher secondary Schools or colleges to make a 'Social Verification' before getting their students admitted. Admission tests need to include morals and manners tests too.

A student is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.

You decide, your fire enlightens the world or burns it.

All I see is a bad generation of parenting!

Dear parents,

When you look at your child, you shouldn't see a blank slate to be written on,

but a masterpiece to be uncovered.

Good one or the worst you decide.
