Importance of preserving eye sight in attaining self-purification and spirituality:

Narrated by Hazrat Abu Umama Radiyallahu Anhu. The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Any Muslim who catches a sudden glance at the beauty of a woman, then lowers his eyes, but Allah creates for him an opportunity of worship, so that he can taste her." - {Musnad Ahmad: 22278}

Let us guard ourselves carefully from all forms of zina: Narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira Radiyallahu Anhu. He said, The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Zina of the eyes to look at a strange woman, Zina of the tongue to speak obscene words, Zina of the hands to touch someone unlawfully, Zina of the feet to walk for adultery, Zina of the ears to hear bad words and the imagination of fornication." Doing and desiring is the jinna of the mind. Then shame completes it or leaves it incomplete."

[Sahih Bukhari: Hadith No. 5899]

So let us guard the sight of the eyes to achieve self-purification and spirituality.

                                   আত্মশুদ্ধি ও আধ্যাত্মিকতা অর্জনে চোখের দৃষ্টি হেফাজতের গুরুত্বঃ 

হযরত আবু উমামা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ "যে কোন মুসলমান কোন নারীর সৌন্দর্যের প্রতি হঠাৎ দৃষ্টি পড়ে যায়, অতঃপর সে নিজ চক্ষু নিচু করে নেয়, তবে আল্লাহ তাআলা তার জন্য এক ইবাদতের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করেন, যাতে সে তার স্বাদ পায়।" - {মুসনাদে আহমাদঃ ২২২৭৮}

আসুন, আমরা সকল ধরণের যিনা থেকে সতর্কতার সাথে আত্মরক্ষা করিঃ হযরত আবু হুরায়রা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন : "কোন বেগানা নারীর প্রতি দৃষ্টি দেওয়া চোখের যিনা, অশ্লীল কথাবার্তা বলা জিহ্বার যিনা, অবৈধভাবে কাউকে স্পর্শ করা হাতের যিনা, ব্যাভিচারের উদ্দেশ্যে হেঁটে যাওয়া পায়ের যিনা, খারাপ কথা শোনা কানের যিনা আর যিনার কল্পণা করা ও আকাংখা করা মনের যিনা। অতঃপর লজ্জাস্থান একে পূর্ণতা দেয় অথবা অসম্পূর্ণ রেখে দেয়।"[সহীহ বুখারীঃ হাদিস নং ৫৮৯৯]

                                             তাই আসুন আমরা আত্মশুদ্ধি ও আধ্যাত্মিকতা অর্জনে চোখের দৃষ্টি হেফাজত করি।
