M.Ed is a professional course for teachers. It is important in improving education, the academic and administrative standards of teachers and increasing teaching skills. As a teacher, I took admission in the M.Ed course of 2021 batch under Bangladesh Open University with the aim of progressing academic and administrative standards and enhancing teaching skills. I had to take the term paper in the 2nd semester of M.Ed course. Our supervisor was Dr. Md Didar Chowdhury sir, the Principal of Sylhet Model School and College. Under his guidance, we started working on our term paper according to the proposal letter.

Accordingly, we gradually moved forward with the research work. After about 7/8 months of continuous research work, we had to prepare a research report. To prepare a beautiful and advanced research paper, the report had to be added and subtracted repeatedly under the guidance and advice of Didar Sir. Then the final report was prepared by printing with binding. The predetermined date of the university was February 27 and 28 for the defense of the term paper. The report in bullet points was to be prepared in a summary through MS Power Point slide and presented it in this defense. Out of 200 candidates, only 10 of us participated in the M.Ed exam with a term paper.

The 2021 batch of M.Ed exam ended yesterday with a two-day term paper defense. This is my 3rd master's degree exam. Before that I successfully completed two professional postgraduate degrees called MDS and MPH. The term paper is very important to be good in research for higher degrees. I want to use my willpower and research skills to move towards M.Phil and Ph.D degrees.

After this defense of term paper along with a few M.Ed candidates in front of Sylhet Government Teachers' Training College, we were in a photo session with Dr. Abu Naser Mohammed Tofayel Husain Sir, the Coordinator of the M.Ed course from BOU, our supervisor Dr. Didar Chowdhury Sir and Md. Khasru Mahmud Sir, Associate Professor (Physics), Sylhet Government Teachers Training College.

We are grateful to Didar Sir. His sincerity and cooperative attitude enabled us to complete our research work successfully. We are also thankful to Didar Sir and all the teachers of the M.Ed course and wish them all good health and longevity.
