The SSC Result 2026 for all boards will be published today, Monday, August 10, at 10:00 AM. Students will be able to check their results through educational institutions, online platforms, and mobile phone SMS.

The Ministry of Education will officially publish the results at a programme arranged at its conference room at 10:00 AM. Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon will attend the programme as the chief guest.

The results will cover students under 11 education boards across Bangladesh. A total of 1,857,344 candidates took part in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.

SSC results 2026 through three methods

Students can collect their results from their respective educational institutions. They can also check the results through the common education board websites and the websites of their respective boards.

The common websites are eduboardresults.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd. Students will also be able to receive their results through SMS from any mobile phone.

There is a small change in the SMS system this year. Students can send result requests to 16140 as well as the existing number 16222.

For SMS results, students need to type the board's first three letters, their roll number and the examination year. The format is: SSC Dha 123456 2026 and it should be sent to 16140.

Results may take some time to appear

Although the results will be officially published at 10:00 AM, students may not see them immediately. Officials said some additional time may be needed to complete uploading and other technical processes.

Students have therefore been advised to wait if the result does not appear immediately after the official publication time.

The results will also be available through the educational institutions. Institutions will be able to download their result sheets from the common education board websites by using their board information and EIIN.

Nearly 1.86 million candidates took exams

This year's SSC and equivalent examinations were held under 11 education boards. A total of 1,857,344 candidates participated in the examinations.

Of the candidates, 930,305 were male and 927,039 were female. The examinations were held at 3,885 centres involving 30,666 educational institutions.

Among the candidates, 1,418,318 were under the general education boards. Another 303,286 candidates were under the Madrasa Board in the Dakhil examination, while 134,660 were under the Technical Board.

The results will be published simultaneously at 10:00 AM from the respective institutions and online, according to the notice issued by the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

Results delayed from the usual schedule

Under the general rule, SSC and equivalent examination results are published within 60 days of the written examinations ending. Based on that schedule, the results were expected to be published on July 20.

However, this year's results are being published nearly three weeks later than that expected date.

The information about the publication date was confirmed in a press release issued on Sunday, August 9, by Abdullah Shibli Sadik, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Education. Before the official publication, the chairmen of the respective education boards will hand over the results.

No results at ministry or newspaper offices

Students will not receive their results directly from the education boards, the Ministry of Education or newspaper offices. They should use the official online services, their educational institutions or the SMS system.

The publication of the results will end a wait of around two and a half months for the country's SSC and equivalent examinees.

SSC result re-scrutiny application from August 11

Students who want their results to be re-scrutinised will be able to apply online from August 11 to August 17.

The education boards will publish notices containing the application process and related instructions on their websites. Students should follow those notices for the official re-scrutiny procedure.

For now, the main task for students is to check their SSC or equivalent results after the official publication at 10:00 AM today.
