Applications for the re-evaluation of answer scripts for the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations have closed, with a total of 1,287,926 answer scripts challenged across 11 education boards. Of these, 1,056,455 applications were submitted for theoretical subjects, while 231,471 applications were submitted for practical subjects.

A source from the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee confirmed the information to Dainikshiksha.com on Tuesday (August 18). Among the nine general education boards, a total of 1,119,656 applications were submitted.

The Dhaka Education Board received the highest number, with 277,665 applications for theoretical subjects and 58,012 for practical subjects. Cumilla Board received 91,494 theoretical and 21,117 practical applications, while Rajshahi Board received 98,710 and 23,518, respectively. Jashore Board received 74,717 applications for theoretical subjects and 16,342 for practical subjects. Chattogram Board recorded 114,706 theoretical and 22,895 practical applications. Barishal Board received 50,293 theoretical and 10,793 practical applications, while Sylhet Board received 50,710 and 10,264, respectively. Dinajpur Board received 89,286 applications for theoretical subjects and 21,974 for practical subjects.

Meanwhile, Mymensingh Board received 71,066 theoretical and 16,091 practical applications. In addition, the Madrasa Education Board received 103,503 applications for theoretical subjects and 13,556 for practical subjects.

The Bangladesh Technical Education Board received 34,305 applications for theoretical subjects and 16,909 for practical subjects.
