The notice further states that the probable list containing the information of students eligible for the Junior Scholarship Examination 2026 will be published on the Dhaka Education Board website on August 31. Institutions must visit the Dhaka Education Board website, click on OEMS/eFF, and log in using their EIIN and password. They must then access the Probable List, print it, and select the eligible candidates by marking them with red ink on the hard copy in accordance with the Junior Scholarship Examination policy.

For students who have transferred from another institution or another education board, their information will appear at the current institution after entering their Class VI 2024 session board, roll and registration numbers. The institution must cross-check the information with the marked hard copy of the Probable List and then select the candidates from the Probable List displayed on the computer.

After printing the Temporary List, institutions can carefully verify the information and, if necessary, select or unselect candidates. Once the final verification is completed, the Pay Slip must be printed by clicking the Pay Slip Print button. The specified examination fee must then be deposited at a nearby Sonali Bank branch where Sonali Service is available.

After the Pay Slip has been printed, candidates cannot be selected or unselected again. Within 24 hours of depositing the fee at the bank, the Final Submit and Final Candidate List Print buttons will become active. Institutions must print the Final Candidate List and obtain the candidates’ signatures. The head of the institution must sign each page of the list.

The institution must then click the Final Submit button to complete the submission. Otherwise, the form-filling process will not be considered complete, and admit cards will not be issued. One copy of the printed list bearing the candidates’ signatures must be preserved by the educational institution.

The notice also states that candidates may sit for the examination in either the Bangla or English version. If any students at an institution wish to take the examination in the English version, the head of the institution must submit a list mentioning the number of candidates directly to the Office of the Controller of Examinations by September 10. Otherwise, the students of that institution will not be allowed to sit for the examination in the English version. The head of the institution will be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to students due to failure to comply with this requirement.

According to the rules, students who have changed educational institutions may take the examination through their new institution, provided they are registered with another institution. Their forms must be completed in accordance with the Junior Scholarship Examination policy.

The Junior Scholarship Examination will be held in five subjects: Bangla, English, Mathematics, Science, and Bangladesh and Global Studies. The full marks for Bangla, English and Mathematics will be 100 each, while Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies will carry 50 marks each.

All heads of educational institutions and concerned officials have been specifically instructed to follow the Junior Scholarship Examination policy and the rules issued by the education board regarding the examination. They have also been directed to take the necessary steps to complete the form-filling process on time based on the registration information of Class VI students.
