Kazi Nazrul Islam was a famous Bengali poet, writer, musician, and revolutionary. He is known as the “Rebel Poet” (Bidrohi Kobi) of Bengal. His writings inspired people to fight against injustice, oppression, inequality, and colonial rule.
Early Life
Kazi Nazrul Islam was born on 24 May 1899 in Churulia, Burdwan, West Bengal, India. His father's name was Kazi Faqeer Ahmed. From his childhood, Nazrul was interested in literature, music, and drama.
