Connector/Linker কী?
Connector বা Linker হলো এমন শব্দ বা শব্দগুচ্ছ, যা দুটি শব্দ, বাক্য বা ধারণাকে যুক্ত করে।

1. যোগ (Addition)

একটি বিষয়ের সাথে আরেকটি বিষয় যোগ করতে। 

· and = এবং

· also = এছাড়াও

· besides = তাছাড়া  

· moreover = অধিকন্তু

Example:

· Rahim is honest and hardworking.

· She is intelligent. Moreover, she is polite.

২. কারণ বোঝাতে (Cause/Reason)

· because = কারণ

· since = যেহেতু

· as = যেহেতু

Example:

· I stayed home because it was raining.

· Since he was ill, he could not come.

৩. ফলাফল বোঝাতে (Result)

· so = তাই

· therefore = সুতরাং

· thus = অতএব

Example:

· He worked hard, so he passed.

· She was late; therefore, she missed the bus.

৪. বিপরীত অর্থ বোঝাতে (Contrast)

· but = কিন্তু

· however = তবে

· although = যদিও

· yet = তবুও

Example: He is poor but honest. /Although he is poor, he is happy.

৫. শর্ত বোঝাতে (Condition)

· if = যদি

unless = যদি না

 উদাহরণ:

· If you study, you will pass.

· You cannot succeed unless you work hard.

৬. সময় বোঝাতে (Time)

· when = যখন

· while = যখন/যখন একই সময়ে  

· before = আগে

· after = পরে

উদাহরণ:

· When I reached home, it was raining.

· Wash your hands before eating.

৭. উদ্দেশ্য বোঝাতে (Purpose)

· so that = যাতে

· in order to = করার জন্য

উদাহরণ:

· He studies hard so that he can succeed.

· She went to the market in order to buy vegetables.

৮. উদাহরণ দিতে (Example)

· for example 

· such as

· Many fruits, such as mangoes and bananas, are sweet.
