The four-line practice of Handwriting

Dear Super teacher, Assalamualaikum. I hope you are all well by the grace of the Almighty. Today I will describe my 6^th innovative story. So, no more delay, let`s start.

Due to the long-time closure of schools for covid-19, all primary school students didn’t practice handwriting English at home. It is my own experience that when I went to the school after the pandemic closure, I saw class one and 2 students’ handwriting conditions were very bad. Then I decided to do something exceptional for improving their conditions.

Procedures:

a)         I told every student to buy a four-line handwriting khata or exercise book. They bought.

b)        At first, I taught capital and small letters writing on the board following/touching four-line.

c)         Besides taking English class, I gave one or two words or sentences every day by writing myself on the board.

d)        The students wrote only 1 or two lines in the English four-line exercise book. They wrote the rest of the lines at home. The next day the students showed me their English handwriting and I gave them the necessary error correction or feedback on it.  

e)          I practised it for one month and saw a massive improvement in their handwriting. This practice is still going on and my students are improving day by day.

f)           Now I brought a bit of change about their khata or exercise book. I told them to write their handwriting in two different khatas or exercise books. They wrote their handwriting in English khata from Sunday to Tuesday (3 days) and in Math or white khata on Wednesday and Thursday (2 days).

g)        Dear Super Teachers, I saw that my students are improving their English handwriting rapidly. I hope, If you follow this innovative idea, you will also be successful.
