Lesson 1: What's in the Shop?

Teacher: "Let's look at these shops. What do they sell?"

• Picture 1: A Bakery

  • Teacher: "This is a bakery. What can you buy here?"

  • Students: "Bread, cake, biscuits."

  • New Words: bakery, bread, cake, biscuit, bun.

• Picture 2: A Supermarket

  • Teacher: "This is a supermarket. It has many things. Name a few."

  • Students: "Rice, milk, sugar, eggs, oil."

  • New Words: supermarket, rice, oil, sugar, packet, bottle.

  • Teacher: "This is a clothing store. What do we buy here?"
