Poem....Holding Hands

The poem describes a line of elephants walking along trails and inside circus rings. Because elephants do not have hands, they use their trunks to hold onto the tail of the elephant in front of them. The speaker notes that trunks and tails are incredibly "handy" tools for them. By maintaining this physical link, the elephants successfully navigate their journeys and perform their routines without ever breaking the chain.
