Object-এর পরে Adjective

১. Adjective কী?

Adjective হলো এমন একটি word, যা কোনো person, animal, place বা thing-এর গুণ, অবস্থা বা বৈশিষ্ট্য প্রকাশ করে।

Examples: good, beautiful, happy, sad, clean, dirty, hot, cold, angry, quiet

২. সাধারণ বাক্যের নিয়ম

আমরা সাধারণত শিখি:

Subject + Verb + Object

Example: Rina reads a book.

Rina = Subject; reads = Verb; a book = Object

কিন্তু কিছু Verb-এর পরে Object-এর অবস্থা বা গুণ বোঝাতে Adjective বসতে পারে।

৩. গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Pattern: Make + Object + Adjective

make অর্থ—কাউকে বা কোনো কিছুকে কোনো অবস্থায়/রূপে পরিণত করা।

Subject + make/made + Object + Adjective

Example: The flowers made the garden beautiful.

অর্থ: ফুলগুলো বাগানটিকে সুন্দর করেছিল।

The flowers = Subject; made = Verb; the garden = Object; beautiful = Adjective

beautiful-কে শেষে বসানো হয়েছে কারণ এটি the garden-এর অবস্থা/গুণ প্রকাশ করছে।

very beautiful-এ very হলো Adverb, যা beautiful-কে জোরালো করছে।

“কাকে/কীকে?” → Object

“কেমন/কী অবস্থায়?” → Adjective

Example: The teacher made the students quiet.

কাদেরকে? → the students

কেমন অবস্থায়? → quiet

তাই the students = Object এবং quiet = Adjective।

৭. পরীক্ষার জন্য মনে রাখবে

Subject + Verb + Object + Adjective

Examples: The news made me happy. | The rain made the road wet. | The teacher made the students quiet.

Golden Rule: Object-এর পরে Adjective বসলে সেই Adjective সাধারণত Object-এর গুণ, অবস্থা বা পরিবর্তিত অবস্থাকে প্রকাশ করে।

make + object + adjective → খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Pattern।

made the garden very beautiful → the garden = Object; very beautiful = Object-এর অবস্থা/গুণ।
