Biography:

Ibn-Arabi's original name was Muhammad and his family name was Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al-Arabi. He was born on 17 Ramadan, 571 AH (26 or 27 July 1175 AD) in the city of Murcia in what is now Andalusia or present-day Spain. Born in the city of Andalusia / Murcia, he is also known as 'Andalusia' and 'Al-Mursi'. He was also called 'Damascus' because he died in Damascus. On the other hand, Hatem Tai, the well-known donor of Yemen, is also known by the nicknames 'Al-Hatemi' and 'Al-Tai' as he is his ancestor.

Ibn Arabi was an Andalusian Sufi saint, writer, and philosopher. Due to his impeccable contribution to Sufism, he is better known as 'Sheikh Al Akbar Muhiuddin Ibn al-Arabi'. Besides, he is better known as Sheikhul Akbar or Jnanikul Shiromani, Hujjatullahil Zahira - direct testimony of Allah and Ayatollah Zahira - the wonder of Allah.
